Features   Features 2RZ (98-00) Pro Long Block - 8 Intake Ports Now for those of you that believe if some is good, then more must be better the Pro-Race series is for you. With the added strength of our LCE Pro crankshaft and chromoly rods, the bottom end is virtually bulletproof. LCE then removes the balance shafts (3RZ only) to get rid of the unnecessary extra timing chain and reduce the rotating mass to make all that much more horsepower. Top that off with some forged pistons and a cylinder head sporting some extra large stainless valves, 35mm cam buckets and Series 2 camshafts and you have an unstoppable combination. ALL PRO-RACE SERIES ENGINES COME WITH THE FOLLOWING COMPONENTS: LCE Pro Crankshaft LCE Pro Chromoly Connecting Rods Oil Pan New Water Pump New Oil Pump New Heavy Duty Timing Chain Kit & Timing Chain Cover Extensively Ported Cylinder Head (Brand New Casting) LCE Dual Valve Springs & Chromoly Valve Spring Retainers NGK Spark Plugs Billet Oil Cap Your Choice of Silver, Black or "Red Head" Powder Coated Valve Covers Forged Pistons (Your Choice of Compression Ratio) 40mm Stainless Steel Swirl Polished Intake Valves & 33mm Stainless Steel Swirl Polished Exhaust Valves Series 2 Camshafts (1 Intake, 1 Exhaust) 35mm "Shim Under" Style Cam Buckets Balance Shaft Will Be Removed A Long Block is an automotive term describing an engine sub-assembly consisting of the following: Short block. The long block is always a superset of the corresponding short block. Cylinder head. A complete new or remanufactured cylinder head assembly is installed with a new head gasket and torqued to specification. (LCE uses only new heads and parts on late moldel Pro 22 R/RE engines) Complete cylinder heads include new or reconditioned valves, valve springs, valve guides (if applicable), valve seats (if applicable), valve locks, and valve keepers. The bare head is free from cracks, warps, or holes. On all LCE Pro engines, the camshaft will be installed. A Long Block engine replacement will require swapping out parts from the original engine to the long block. These parts include the intake manifold, the exhaust manifold, alternator, power steering pump (if installed in the vehicle), and air conditioner compressor (if installed in the vehicle).
