Advanced Air Systems, Inc. designed the original CO2 on-board air system back in 1997. This on-board system was developed out of the need for a fast, simple and affordable tire inflation system. What they ended up with was a top quality, on-board air system. It is capable of running air tools, is easily portable, very affordable, easy to install and inflates tires faster than a 6 HP shop compressor. They named it the Power Tank. Since then, the Power Tank's popularity for its versatility, power and speed has spread to other industries such as desert racing, motor homes, sand, construction, street rods, and others.
