LCE's Turbo Kits are designed for use on the Toyota 22RE-powered trucks, 4Runners. Whether for street or competitive drag racing, LCE can configure a custom turbo kit for your specific needs. The LCE street turbo kit is designed to utilize our Pro Fuel Injection System or any other stand-alone engine management. Along with larger injectors, the Pro Fuel Injection can be programmed to provide the correct fuel and ignition curve for a performance turbo engine. For those who aren't ready to step up to a stand alone fuel management system, we recommend our Mass Airflow Conversion kit. Please make sure your engine is set up to handle boost before adding a turbocharger kit.

This street turbocharger is designed to spool quickly for maximum drivability in street vehicles. This turbo utilizes an internal wastegate for simplicity. We pre-set the wastegate to 7psi, which is plenty for most street engines, but can be easily adjusted without the need for removing the wastegate and swapping springs like an external gate. This turbo will support up to 250+ horsepower, and can be turned up to about 15-18psi while still being efficient.

The base kit features a custom Garrett turbo with an internal wastegate set to 7psi, a tig-welded CNC-machined billet steel manifold, stainless steel down tube, charge pipe to connect to throttle body, and all the necessary gaskets, fittings, lines and hardware for installation. Manifold has a flange for upgrading to an external wastegate. The base kit will come with a block off plate on this flange. This turbo kit will work best with a stand-alone fuel management system (like the LC Pro Fuel Injection Kit) or a piggy back system (like the Mass Airflow Conversion Kit). You may need to modify or fabricate an intake tube if you plan on retaining your stock mass airflow airbox.
