Street Header Kit With Crossover 3VZ 3.0L V6 1988-1995 4WD Pickup Or 4Runner 4WD Application Only

Hands down the best 3.0L performance headers on the market! These headers are constructed using all stainless steel tubing, 16 gauge .065 wall, and 1/2" thick flanges for the strongest most durable headers you can buy. These headers are for 4WD applications only and are a direct fit application, which means that you don't have to buy any other parts or do any modifications to make them fit your vehicle! Like all of LCE's headers, these are ceramic coated to reduce heat and improve appearance.

The 3VZ headers now block off the EGR system as well as air injection. The kit will include the parts to block off both as well as a resistor selection to prevent check engine light. Some resistor changes may be necessary. This kit includes a crossover pipe that fits stock or lifted vehicles! No longer will you need to fabricate your own exhaust on your lifted truck! The crossover is designed to clear the front driveshaft when the vehicle is equipped with a suspension lift(2" Max.) , then connect to the factory exhaust.

Removing the stock exhaust SUCKED!

The headers went in pretty smoothly, driver side fit perfectly,  cross over pipe fit perfectly, unfortunately the passenger side header does touch the clutch arm, another customer had the same issue.
The contact is very minimal and the truck is still drivable but I will need to modify the header or grind down the clutch arm slightly to fit perfectly.

It's such a tight fit that I'm not surprised there is a minor clearance issue but at the same time I'm also a little disappointed because these are some of the best headers on the market, if not the best.

Hopefully LCE corrects this minor issue.

You do have to manipulate the clutch hard line a bit so it doesn't touch the header.

I do highly recommend putting some heat shielding around the clutch & fuel hard lines that are very close to the passenger side header.

I have yet to install the product. The customer service however is beyond the standard. Off the bat I received emails on the progress of my merchandise. From the time they received my order, to the beginning of parts being manufactured, to the moment of confirming I received my order. I didn’t respond to any of the email because I figured they were generated via automation. Then I started receiving phone calls. The service was amazing, the people are knowledgeable, and best part(most refreshing I may add) was everyone was so friendly and seemed to be legitimately content with their roles. Keep it up LCE I’ll be submitting more orders in the near future

Direct Fit 95 4Runner 3vze June 11, 2018

This review is for a 95 4Runner, 3vze with manual transmission.  Headers had to be manufactured so this took about a week.  LCE contacted me to keep me in the loop which was awesome.  Headers arrived as expected in a well packaged box.  The install was pretty straight forward with the instructions provided including the EGR blockoff plate.  Only a slight modification on the passenger side header needed to be competed for the install.  The clearance on the passenger side is tight.  The clutch kept hitting the header when the clutch pedal was depressed.  I modified a small area about a half inch  around the header where the clutch arm hit the header to allow clearance when the clutch pedal was depressed.  It took about a quarter inch to half inch indentation to have sufficient clearance when the clutch was actuated.  With sufficient clearance, I completed the install with no issues. The headers bolted right up and I had all the necessary hardware to complete the installation.

Pass. side; removed AC lines at the compressor and firewall. Cut the trans cooler guard.
Drivers side; cut the front bottom corner off the gasket to clear the dip sticks when installing the gasket.
#6 lower stud; Install the nut as the header goes on/shorten the stud; cut an open end wrench to fit between the stud and fire wall. To tighten, bend a box end into a tight half moon shape. Or extend a wrench so it can be tightened from the bottom. I used a lock washer and gr.8 nut instead of the Stover lock nut.
The fit and welds are first class and the packaging is superb.
The only part I have to fab is a bracket to support the trans dip stick.

The $CDN exchange rate and the 11% at the border is a killer; came to over $1500 for the whole system with the Xmas sale.
I'd definitely buy these again; LCE should investigate 1/2 moon/ distributor wrenches to find one that works or a paper template of what's needed.

Best Mod ever done to my 4Runner December 14, 2015

I put in a new head gasket, water pump and timing belt in my 1995 4Runner.  I also serviced the rear axle with bearings and rear seals.  With 170,000 miles it was dependable and ran okay.  But it was lacking some oomph. So I ordered the LCE Headers and Crossover Kit.  Now it runs like it has 25,000 miles on it! Thank You, LCE, for your great service. Brad was very knowledgeable and my package came with everything needed in a timely fashion.
