Definitely my muffler of choice for the 22re
I have the doug thorley long tube headers, a generic cat and this muffler on my 22re and it sounds amazing! I know backpressure is often an issue with these engines, so just to be safe (since I tried so many other mufflers and setups) I ended up doing a 2 1/4" tube from the header into the cat but we widened the cats' 2" input port up to 2 1/4" to match the tube size. The cat is the bottleneck but I've tried other exhausts and had no low end power. This gives me excellent performance as well as a nice growl.
