Pro Flow Exhaust System
LC Engineering’s Pro Flow Exhaust Systems are made with 409 stainless steel tubing, a 409 stainless steel straight-through Street Max muffler and 3/8" thick mild steel flanges. The straight-through design of the Street Max muffler delivers a deep performance tone without the excessive interior drone or high-pitched external sound frequencies (rasp) while providing optimal flow for improved horsepower & torque. They are then ceramic coated for long-lasting good looks and protection from the elements. LC Engineering designs our kits to be a direct fit application that requires little or no modifications and uses factory exhaust hanger locations. This bolts up behind your factory catalytic converter or one of our high flow performance catalytic converters. This exhaust system features 2 1/4" tubing with a 3" polished stainless tip. Every kit is shipped complete with all the instructions and hardware you will need for a quick and easy installation process.

NOTE: Designed to be used on single catalytic converter trucks only. LC Engineering does NOT recommend wrapping our headers with any sort of exhaust wrap. Doing so will increase the likelihood of a premature failure of the header, as it holds contaminants to the exhaust tubing and increases the chances of corrosion. Exhaust wraps will void any and all warranty claims.

This LC Engineering Pro Flow Exhaust System is designed to fit 1995 to 2004 Tacoma trucks with the 2RZ engine. NOTE: This product will only fit single catalytic converter applications!
Installation:

1. Remove the stock exhaust system from the catalytic converter back. Be careful not to damage the hangers or brackets.
2. Using the supplied clamp & hanger assembly install the rear "˜S' pipe in to the stock hangers. Install the clamp snug, do not tighten firmly.
3. Attach the tailpipe section to the "˜S' pipe using the supplied gasket & hardware. Hang the rear tail pipe section to the factory hangers using the clamp & hanger assembly supplied in kit. Install the clamp snug, do not tighten firmly.
4. Install the offset outlet of the muffler into the "˜S' pipe using supplied clamp. Install the clamp snug, do not tighten firmly.
5. Check alignment and location of muffler and tailpipe. Hangers may require a slight adjustment for proper alignment.
6. Install the front "˜S' pipe into the center inlet of muffler using the supplied clamp. Install the clamp snug, do not tighten firmly.
7. The front pipe section may need to be cut to length. Be sure to allow enough overlap for adequate clamping area. Install the front pipe section to the "S" pipe using the supplied clamp. Leave clamp loose. Attach the front pipe section to the catalytic convertor using the 2 bolt flange gasket. Leave loose.
8. Tighten all bolts and then firmly tighten all the 21/4" exhaust clamps.
9. Start engine and check for exhaust leaks. Tighten flanges and clamps as needed.
NOTE:
- This system is designed to fit all cab and bed configurations. FRONT PIPE SECTION WILL HAVE TO BE CUT to correct length shorter applications. LC Engineering recommends using O2 safe, high-temperature silicon on slip connections for small exhaust leaks.
- Short Bed and Standard Cab Trucks must cut 18" from the straight pipe.

Sounds great
The exhaust was easy to bolt up to the header and came with great instructions. It sounds great.

Pro Flow Exhaust. 02 Tacoma 2RZFE 2WD 5speed 5 lug
Love the sound. Sound is hardly noticeable at idle and cruising. Although, on my particular truck it drones only at 60 mph in 5th gear at ~2500 rpm. WOT is intoxicating. Instructions say to cut 18 in off straight pipe for standard cab/short bed, however I only cut 14. Mock up the entire system before cutting for your truck. Other than that looks great, fits great.

Everything bolted together great, had to cut the straight pipe because I have a standard cab but, they told me how much to cut took the guess work out of everything.

Word of mouth and many hours researching brought me to pick up LCE's exhaust system and I'm glad I did!! Well put together, affordable proven performance. Seen very noticeable increase in performance on my 1998 Tacoma 2RZ. Can't wait to follow it up with their header.
