Pro Flow Exhaust System
LC Engineering’s Pro Flow Exhaust Systems are made with 409 stainless steel tubing, a 409 stainless steel straight-through Street Max muffler and 3/8" thick mild steel flanges. The straight-through design of the Street Max muffler delivers a deep performance tone without the excessive interior drone or high-pitched external sound frequencies (rasp) while providing optimal flow for improved horsepower & torque. They are then ceramic coated for long-lasting good looks and protection from the elements. LC Engineering designs our kits to be a direct fit application that requires little or no modifications and uses factory exhaust hanger locations. This bolts up behind your factory catalytic converter or one of our high flow performance catalytic converters. This exhaust system features 2 1/4" tubing with a 3" polished stainless tip. Every kit is shipped complete with all the instructions and hardware you will need for a quick and easy installation process.
Features:
- Straight-Through Design
- 409-Grade 16 -Gauge Stainless Steel Construction
- Delivers A Deep Performance Tone
- High-Heat Thermal Mesh
- Improved Horsepower & Torque
- Effective Drone Reduction
- 3 Year Limited Warranty (Muffler)
NOTE: Designed to be used with a 17" catalytic converter. LC Engineering does NOT recommend wrapping our exhaust with any sort of exhaust wrap. Doing so will increase the likelihood of a premature failure of the exhaust, as it holds contaminants to the exhaust tubing and increases the chances of corrosion. Exhaust wraps will void any and all warranty claims.

This Pro Flow Exhaust System is designed to fit 1989 to 1995 4Runners with 22R/RE and 3VZ engines and rear coil spring suspension.
NOTE: This exhaust kit will not fit leaf sprung 4Runners and will only work with a 17.5" catalytic converter (or test pipe).
Installation:
-
1. Remove the stock exhaust system from the catalytic converter on back. Be careful not to damage the hangers or brackets.
2. Install the muffler into the stock hangers. The offset side of the muffler goes towards the back of the vehicle so that the hangers also point towards the rear of the vehicle.
3. Attach the tailpipe section using a 2-bolt flange gasket. Bolt to the muffler and attach rear hanger. Do not tighten yet.
4. Check alignment and location of muffler and tailpipe. Hangers may require a slight adjustment for proper alignment.
5. Connect front pipe to back of catalytic converter using a 2-bolt flange gasket.
6. Check the clearance of your Pro Flow Exhaust System to the floor pan, chassis components, parking brake cable assembly, driveshaft, etc. Adjust system as needed.
7. Starting at the muffler, tighten bolts working towards the front and back.
8. Start engine and check for exhaust leaks. Tighten flanges and clamps as needed.

Great Quality Product
I bought the Pro Flow Exhaust System and Free Flow Catalytic Converter about 2 weeks ago. I needed to replace the catalytic converter and my existing cat back was looking a little old and tired, so I bought both. Luckily my old system and cat weren't hard to get off, they simply unbolted. The hardest part was getting the system off the rubber hangers and getting the gaskets inside the flange without them falling out before tightening the bolts on the new system. Took about 3 hours, removal and installation. After driving it for about a week, I've noticed that my exhaust flows better, the throttle responds better to my input (might be because of the old clogged cat), and the sound is more prominent. It's certainly louder than stock, but not too loud. It has a nice deep note that actually starts to quiet down above 3k rpm, which will be good for long highway trips. I'm guessing it will help qith fuel economy, but not by much. I'm very impressed with the fit and quality of the system.

90 4 runner fitment
This has got to be the easiest thing I have put in a 4 runner thus far. I broke the rear tailpipe hanger taking off the old exhaust. wouldn’t you know it, there was one in the box. Everything fit like a glove and only took me about 20 minutes from start to finish. It sounds great.

Awesome product!!
Literally the only 2nd gen bolt on exhaust system available, and it is exactly what my Runner needed - well worth the price, and it showed up quicker than I was expecting. Will happily deal with LCEngineering again once my 3.4 swap is finished!

Perfection!
Replaced the old rusted out exhaust system on my 1991 4runner. I called LCE and made sure to get the correct system including a new Magnaflow direct fit catalytic converter. The hardest part was getting the old system off... install on this new kit is a breeze. Sound is great deep and throaty especially in first and second gear then it quiets down nicely for 45mph+ I highly recommend this system worth every penny.

Install took an hour give or take . Everything is straight forward and the system really is direct fit with zero modifications or fitment issues . We like the low growl at idle it has now Changed the cat as well while I was in there and now the BURO is humming and breathing so swell....system is installed on the truck 3 days after placing the order so shipping was quick as well.

Straightforward Installation
Received the cat-back exhaust for my 4Runner and had it installed the same afternoon. Removing the rusted flange nuts off the existing stock exhaust was the most time consuming part. Looks and sounds great!
