Chevy Transmission Adapter Plate Kit
This CNC-machined adapter kit is designed to mate a Toyota 1GR (4.0 Tacoma V6) engine to any Turbo Hydromatic GM transmission, Powerglide transmission bell housing. Perfect for the racer that wants the easy-to-find GM transmission in their race truck and wants the power and reliability of their Toyota engine. This adapter plate comes with all hardware needed for installation. Requires a custom flexplate. It is designed to have the engine and transmission straight, not at an angle. Not intended for stock applications but performance applications where fabrication is already being done. Requires the use of a custom torque converter adapter ring, for use with automatic transmission. Some modification to your engine and transmission is required for installation.
NOTE: Does not work with Manual Transmissions.

Answer: You will use a Toyota starter with our adapter plates.
