For quite some time, LC Engineering has been offering an extra-flex extended leaf spring for Toyota Pick-up and 4Runner’s. Quite a few of our customers are not in need of such an aggressive suspension modification and are looking to replace the factory worn out leaf packs with something new that bolts directly into the factory mounts. We talked to one of the highest quality, suspension component manufacturers on the market and had them make leaf spring sets specifically for us.
When considering a replacement suspension component, it is highly recommended that the quality of parts used are equal to or better than the original factory components. The factory leaf springs on the early Toyota Pick-up and 4Runner’s were fairly stout, but since, have likely fatigued. These replacement leaf springs are of a quality superior to the factory springs to get your vehicle's handling back to where you need it. Look no further! No Issues, Arrived As Described
Items were in great shape and arrived within the timeframe provided. Supply chain issues made for a longer lead time but LCE were up front about that and hit their promised delivery window.

GREAT SPRINGS FOR 2WD-INSTALLED ON MY 1985 !
I replaced my rear springs on a stock ride and kept my same shock mounts. You must replace the U-Bolts or you will damage the new springs. These springs are about 1/2" thicker in stack height than original springs a new OEM U-bolt may be too short. The U-bolt that will work perfectly on a 2WD Toyota PU is 1/2" thread, center width of 2-3/4", length of 6" and round. Alcan Springs can make these U-Bolts for you (they manufacturer these spring for LCE) or a Skyjacker 12X234X6 U-Bolt will work. Make sure to use new nuts and hardened washers if the nuts are not shouldered. Also new Prothane motion red urethane bushing come on these springs ends but you'll need the set for the shackles bushing. For the 2WD is Prothane Motion Control kit is part number 18-1002. Anyway great springs, good install, they make the truck frame flat now (my rear was slightly higher which might explain the thicker stack height vs the original spring). Follow torque instructions that come with springs too!
