Pro Camshaft Kit
(w/ Chromoly Retainers)
When you step up to a Stage 2 or higher cam, the stock Toyota valve train is not designed to handle these high lift, high duration cams. The rocker arms will start to interfere with the retainers; the retainers will start running into the stock guides and so on. The result is a lot of broken parts. To eliminate this interference problem, LCE has engineered a valve train combination that allows for the high-performance cams without all the interference.
In comes the Pro Cam Kit. This kit has a custom spring that sports 100 lbs. of seat pressure. The kit also comes with Chromoly retainers for better durability while still being lighter than a stock retainer. The kit then includes a custom valve guide that has a shorter top to clear the retainer on high lift cams. The guide is then matched to a custom Viton valve seal set and is then finished off with hardened keepers and spring shims.

NOTE: Valve Guides will need to be honed for proper valve stem clearances. (Intake .0015″ - .0020″) (Exhaust .0020″ - .0025″).
