8" Pinion & Transfer Case Flange Nut

The flange nuts are recommended to be staked or peened over to lock so they are not considered reusable. This stock replacement nut is used on the 8" pinion in the rear 1979-2002 and most transfer case flanges. Toyota used two different nuts for the 8" Applications this will replace the one that uses the 30mm socket to remove. This is a fine thread nut.

NOTE: Will not work for the front 7.5" or any other Toyota differential.

    Was re-gearing my rear diff and lost the pinion nut. This one is exact replacement for a 20x1.5 thread so just bought this one.

    Works on Isuzu Trooper AW30-80LE

    Bought this for my '89 Trooper since it has the Isuzu labelled version of the A340H. Looks just like OEM. Good to replace them since you need to stake it with a chisel.

    The picture shows a Flanged Stake Nut. What I received was just a normal nut with a stake portion on it. No flange at the base. However the threads continued through the entire length of the nut and when used with a washer it fit my needs well enough to work. *To be clear I used this for a swap project on an Aisin transmission. Given the options available this was the absolute best and I'm glad it was available. I only dropped 1 star as the picture didn't match the nut I received. But tech support did verify the thread pitch properly which helped immensely. *--LCE says--* We apologize for the inconsistency with the image, and we thank you for bringing it to our attention.
