Some people don't know it but a header makes the most power gain with a single bolt on part with no need of complicated and super expensive modifications to your vehicle. It increases horsepower an average of 10% over what your engine is currently making by improving flow in the exhaust system (Logic says: the faster everything comes out, the faster everything can come in).
There are many headers in the market these days, some might be cheaper, but they are far from better. LC Engineering has been producing, testing, installing and designing these headers for more than 20 years, so we can assure you that there is not a better header for a Toyota 20/22 engine series out there on the market. After installing your LC Engineering header on your Toyota you will know why we are still the #1 header around, why race and off-road enthusiasts prefer us and why we are worth the extra expense.
LC Engineering uses all 304 1 1/2" Stainless steel tubing, 16 gauge .065 wall, the collector is made in house with 409 Stainless steel. We are utilizing a huge 1/2" thick steel header to head flange and 3/8" thick 2 1/4" collector flanges. As if that were not enough, the whole package is coated in a high temp ceramic coating. To make the install easy on you LC Engineering supplies you with all the gaskets needed to bolt your header on your vehicle. Our header flanges are cut to allow the use of OEM exhaust manifold gaskets. These gaskets feature a metal crush fire ring and a heat deflector for the plug wires. No cheap paper gaskets to blow out with a LC Engineering Header. This Header Kit was specifically designed to fit on some rock crawlers and buggy's, vehicles that usually don't have enough space to fit a long tube header.

All Toyota Pickups and 4Runners manufactured before 1988 should be a factory non-heated single wire oxygen sensor. When installing our Street Header Kit you will notice that the oxygen sensor provision has been moved downstream from its factory location. We recommend that anyone with a pre 1988 application utilize our universal 4 wire heated O2 sensor in replace of there factory single wire. This will not only improve the signal but the gas mileage as well as the performance of the vehicle. Vehicles made from 1988-1995 should have a factory heated O2 sensor and should not need to change it unless their factory one is damaged
NOTE: Not Smog legal. Please understand that you will be doing custom work for the exhaust system, O2 sensor will be relocated. Welding will be required. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm fitment to any Toyota Car, see the images below for fitment layout. LC Engineering does NOT recommend wrapping our headers with any sort of exhaust wrap. Doing so will increase the likelihood of a premature failure of the header, as it holds contaminants to the exhaust tubing and increases the chances of corrosion. Exhaust wraps will void any and all warranty claims.
