Single Chamber vs 3 Chamber FJ Cruiser Muffler Designs

Beyond the finish, you also have a choice in internal design. The standard Pro Flow mufflers use a straight through single chamber design that prioritizes exhaust flow and produces a moderate performance tone. 

The 3 Chamber Pro Flow mufflers use a unique multi chamber layout with no packing to achieve a deeper, throatier exhaust note while still improving flow over a stock unit. The 3 Chamber option is available in both 2 1/4 inch and 2 1/2 inch inlet sizes in the 14 inch satin body, giving off-road enthusiasts a great balance of sound and durability on the trail.
