Heavy Duty Shifter Seat

It's common for the factory shift lever ball seat to wear, crumble and disintegrate over time. This often results in a sloppy or loose t-case shifter. The factory seat is soft so it can be squeezed into position. These shifter seats have machined grooves in the sides so instead of squeezing the seat into place, the groves on each side allow ours to rotate into its final position. This design makes a stronger, longer-lasting hardened urethane. These new heavy-duty seats will far outlast the stock units and will reduce shifter slop.
NOTE: Not for gear-driven T-Cases with "Top Shift" style shifters.
Diameter is 1.530" Fits the transfer case shifter on all "Forward Shift" style transfer cases, such as a G52, G54, W56-C, W56-D, W56-E, R151F, and 1988-95 R150F applications with forward shifting transfer case shift bases. It also fits top shifting chain drive transfer case shift bases.

Work well on my 1998 4x4 lever
It was installed in my 1998 4x4 tacoma 2.7 . It’s for the 4x4 lever and not shifting lever . Made more stiff feels better .

Transfer case shift
Made shifting easier and got rid of the slop. Hopefully upgrading to a plastic seat makes it less likely for debri to get into the case, the old seat was rubber and it was falling apart.
