Intake Manifold Gaskets

Teflon Heat Isolator kits keep the power-robbing heat away from the intake air. By keeping the heat out of the intake manifold, the incoming air is cooler, therefore making more power. This is the ultimate for improving mileage and performance for the price. Our Teflon gaskets are also reusable and won't tear as the factory paper gaskets do. Kits include Teflon isolators for the throttle body, intake to head, and intake to the plenum.
NOTE: If you are keeping the EGR Valve, these gaskets will not work, they space the intake out and will not allow the valve to be reinstalled.

LC Engineering's Heat Dissipation kits will install just like an ordinary gasket. These Teflon spacers do not require the use of any silicone or adhesive to install them. The only time you will want to use any silicone is on a water port that has electrolysis damage to fill the porosity. When handled with care these gaskets can be re-used several times as long as it has not been damaged.

Good Idea.
Nice replacement to the original gaskets for thermal isolation.... inferred gun shows a noticeable drop in manifold temperature... this along with the TB Teflon gasket to isolate the heat from the cold start fast idel system... greatly reduces pre-ignition, improves ECU controlled ignition timing... not to mention cylinder fill... all these added bits a pieces add up to improved performance.... I run my base time setup at 10 degrees BTDC, and 108 octane booster... not a hint of pre-ignition / detonation on my 89 22re 4x4 truck.
