Pro Short Block Kit
The LC Engineering Pro Short Block Kit provides you with all the bottom end components to build your own Pro engine.

- LC Pro H-Beam Connecting Rods
- Clevite main, rod & thrust bearings
- Brass freeze plugs
- Complete gasket set
- Water pump
- LC Pro Oil Pump
- Pro Head Studs
- LC Dual Row Timing Chain Conversion Kit
- Forged Pistons
We've put this kit together with a choice of the most popular pistons to match up with your build. We offer an available upgrade to main studs (+$110), your block will need to be prepped (your local machine shop should be setup to do it) to accept the stud kit.
NOTE: This kit ships with 2 sets of main bearings. We have found that since 1981-1982 was a transition year and there is no way to know for certain which block you have from the outside; sometimes people will have an early style block in their later year truck. Once you've pulled your main bearings you will be able to determine which bearing set you need.
LC Engineering recommends using with our Crank Scraper Part #: 1013022.
