Pro Spark Plug Wires
Magnecor's KV85 competition (8.5mm) ignition cables feature Magnecor's exclusive 2.5mm high-capacity metallic inductance EMI-suppressed conductor consisting of stainless steel wire precisely wound at 200 turns per inch over a ferromagnetic core. The insulating jacket is made entirely of Magnecor's exclusive TC-1500-HS high strength aerospace grade silicone rubber, and its single layer construction will prolong the jacket's insulating ability by conducting extreme heat away from hot-spots that occur near over-the-limit heat sources. The KV85 8.5mm jacket has a service heat resistance of 600°F (320°C) and up to 1,000°F (540°C). Even if temperature limits are exceeded, the silicone rubber will retain its insulating ability until wires are removed from engine. Most modern day engines rely on electronic devices to control the function of the ignition and fuel systems, and are prone to interference. Many of the other spiral conductor ignition wires sold through performance parts outlets cannot provide proper suppression for EMI, particularly if a high-output ignition system is being used.
We always recommend the use of our Pro Wires for any stock or modified street engine that is electronically managed, however most other modified engines can also use our Pro Wires to improve ignition performance as well as improve its efficiency. So now is a great time to get those small vacuum line looking plug wires off for a nice set of these 8.5mm wires!
NOTE: The 5VZ motors utilizes a coil on three of the spark plugs, and plug wires on the other three. This spark plug kit is to replace the three wires.

They do what they are supposed to.
The wires came much sooner than estimated, go USPS, and they came in pristine condition, box and all. As far as the wires go, maybe the engine runs a bit smoother, maybe it starts easier, but honestly I think it's more like buying the better shingles for you house. No one will care, and you won't notice a difference, but if you get the red ones at least you'll look sporty. And I thought there was supposed to be a sticker that came with these wires? No?
