Denso Iridium IK24 Spark Plug
These 3 step colder plugs are recommended by URD if you are running the 7th Injector and 2.1 pulley upgrade on a Supercharged 5VZ engine. If you are running the stock pulley (Low Boost) on the 5vz supercharger, Magnuson recommends staying with the stock heat range spark plug. A new generation of high performance spark plug that uses the world's smallest Iridium electrode that is a mere 0.4mm in diameter! The smaller the electrode, the more concentrated the electric potential at the electrode. The stronger the electric field, the lower the required voltage. As a result, combustion is good for all types of driving, the engine starts easily, and acceleration improves.
NOTE: Sold individually, (6) are required for the 5VZ. These spark plugs DO NOT REQUIRE GAPPING. Gapping these plugs will result in snapping of the center electrode!
