(180 Degree)
Reduced engine temperatures add life to your engine and provide a denser air/fuel mixture which helps produce more horsepower. Consistent control of the engine temperature allows an engine to operate at its peak efficiency, no matter what the driving conditions. The factory 195° thermostat simply cycles open and closed, this reduces cooling efficiency in any engine. With the 180° thermostat you get consistent engine cooling and precise metering of water throughout the engine. Constructed of stainless steel.
NOTE: Thermostats do not come with gaskets.

Quality Thermo
My 22R Celica struggled to get to operating temp, and had very clearly mismatched bolts and way too much RTV leaking around the housing from the previous owner, so I figured they installed a sketchy thermostat and it was stuck open. Turns out they removed the thermostat completely! And it was totally free flowing. Anyways, this one fit in great and now it gets right up to 180 and stays there.

Works exactly as it's supposed to. Have a aftermarket temp gauge and reads at 180-185f consistently.

Early open thermostat
Thermostat works great, using my stock radiator and a temperature controlled fan, it takes a lot longer for the radiator to heat soak. In a few days I'll be switching to a full aluminum and shrouded radiator which should resolve any remaining heat soak issues.
