  • The “ND″ (“No-Drill″) series of hood strut kits are 100% bolt-on, with no drilling required and no permanent alterations to your truck. This makes installation a breeze, and is completely reversible should you choose to remove the hood struts at a later point.
  • One-handed hood opening and closing â€" the struts lift the hood smoothly to its fully open position, and allow it to close and latch securely without slamming.
  • Kit comes complete with premium OEM-quality components, including two enameled gloss black hood struts, heavy gauge black powder coated brackets, all required installation hardware including our innovative “SlotLOK″ nutplates for the hood, and illustrated step-by-step installation instructions.

  • Note: Some models may require modifications to the bracket holding the evap connector. A corner of the bracket needs to be cut off to make room for the strut (see photo), and the connector then zip-tied to a nearby location.

      Great kit from Spiker Engineering! Bolted right up to my 94 2WD Hilux. All you'll need are a 10mm socket (and a ratchet or driver), a 10mm wrench, and a 4mm Allen head (wrench, socket, whatever). I added some Loctite orange, probably not a bad idea for you 4WD Yotas out there. One day I'll nickel plate the hardware.
