Vented Non-Cross Drilled Rotor
Toyota Pick-Ups and 4Runners (86+) feature larger vented rotors from the factory. Earlier (79-85) trucks used solid, non-vented rotors up front along with smaller calipers. If you're installing a solid front axle on an (86+) rig you will want to install a set of these vented rotors onto the axle. With these rotors, you will be able to use your existing larger IFS calipers. Simply unbolt your existing rotors and replace them with these vented rotors. Slight grinding of the rotors backing plate will be needed. Then simply install the IFS calipers right onto the solid axle using the factory bolts. These rotors can also be used on early solid axle trucks to increase braking effectiveness.
NOTE: This part number is for one rotor (each). (2) are required per application and we recommend changing both at the same time.

- 1981-1985 Solid axles with (8) hole style rotors
- Any solid front axle swapped onto a 1986 or newer rig (Slight grinding of the rotors backing plate will be needed).

Non Cross Drilled Vented Front Rotors
I prefer a vented rotor for longer pad life. These rotors will definitely do the job for me. Nice
