Water Block Plate Kit
(9 Bolt / Under Intake)
This is the 9 bolt style water plate for the bottom of the 20R Cannon Downdraft Manifold. This kit comes with a billet aluminum water plate, mounting hardware, 3/8" npt plug and 90 degree fitting with a 5/8" hose barb.
NOTE: Gaskets for this plate are no longer available, LC Engineering recommends using Ultra Grey RTV to use as a sealant.

Due to the casting differences in the Offenhauser intake manifold some block plates will require a slight modification.
Installation:
- First mock up the block plate on the bottom of the manifold.
- Next install all bolts thru the block plate into the manifold - Do not tighten bolts only install them enough to engage the threads.
- Verify that all the bolts thread into the manifold easily and freely.
- If you find that one or more of the bolts are binding or not threading in properly you may have to open that bolt hole on the block plate slightly (DO NOT MODIFY THE MANIFOLD). LC Engineering recommends the use of a small file or drill bit. You should only have to clearance this hole a very small amount. Be careful not to take too much material off the block plate or you could experience a coolant leak.
- Once you clearance the bolt hole repeat steps 1-4 as necessary.
- Install the water plate using silicone sealant.

Perfect replacement
Perfect replacement. It would be nice to include a couple extra bolts in case you’re like me and drop one and can’t find it anywhere.

9 bolt, under 20r intake, water blockoff
Fits great. Allows me to run a heater hose out from under the intake manifold with the included heater hose fitting, instead of out the top, while cleaning up the apearance of my 20r. No more rusty stock water plate too. Thanks LCE

Great Water Block/Redirection
