Sidedraft Manifold w/ Linkage
(48mm & Larger Carbs)
If you are running 48mm or larger sidedrafts then this is the manifold you need. The two-piece design allows the carburetors to be spread apart from each other so you don't get any linkage interference with your larger sidedraft carburetors.
This manifold will need a linkage kit for the proper operation we recommend the center pull (see part number below). It also requires the early style thermostat housing from the 1981-1982 22R. The manifold comes with gaskets for the carburetor but it is recommended to run the isolators instead of the gaskets. One isolator kit per carburetor two kits required per manifold. We also recommend the center of head water block plate.
Remember that you will need to upgrade to an electric fuel pump with any sidedraft carburetor application. This is for the manifold only carburetors must be purchased separately. If you are planning on running an 83-95 style thermostat housing you will also need to utilize one of our thermostat housing adapters.
