Dual Spring & Titanium Retainer Kit
LC Engineering has taken the guesswork out of choosing the right parts for your cylinder head! We have created a spring & retainer kit that comes with all the parts needed to upgrade your 20R/22R/RE/RET cylinder head to a dual spring set-up.
Pro Dual Valve Springs
The Pro Dual Valve Springs are a "must-have" upgrade when running bigger lift cams and higher RPM's. With 100lbs of seat pressure and open pressure of 210lbs (at .500" lift) they will work perfectly with any naturally aspirated or boosted applications. These springs are rated up to 8,500 RPM and will accommodate cam lifts up to .550"!
Titanium Retainers
LC Engineering offers CNC machined retainers made from high strength, heat-treated titanium alloy. Designed to add strength while offering weight reduction. Perfect for high RPM, street, and race applications. It should be used with our hardened keepers and spring kits.

The proper set of matched valve train components will eliminate most valve train problems. The LC Pro Dual Valve Springs will control your valves up to 8,500 rpm, with a valve lift of .550. You must use Pro Titanium Retainers (Part # 1023003) with these springs. The installed height of the Pro Dual Valve Springs is 1.630 - 1.635. Spring seat pressure should be 100 psi.
Install using a .015 Hardened Spring Shim (Part #1023132) to protect the cylinder head. Always check the valve spring for coil bind. Minimum .090 suggested clearance. For higher lift cams it is recomended to use hardened valve keepers (Part #1023090). For matched valvetrain components use the PRO Cam Kit (part #1020000). Note: These springs will not work with stock spring retainers.
