Cross Drilled & Slotted Rotors
(Converts Solid Axle Non-Vented Rotors To Vented Rotors)
Toyota Pick-Ups and 4Runners 1986+ feature larger vented rotors from the factory. Earlier 1979-1985 trucks used solid, non-vented rotors upfront along with smaller calipers. If you're installing a solid front axle on an 1986+ rig, you will want to install a set of these vented rotors onto the axle. With these rotors, you will be able to use your existing larger IFS calipers. Simply unbolt your existing rotors and replace them with these vented rotors. Slight grinding of the rotor's backing plate will be needed, then simply install the IFS calipers right onto the solid axle using the factory bolts. These rotors can also be used on early trucks to increase braking effectiveness.

Solid Axle vented conversion cross-drilled rotors
The rotors fit perfect and required no mods. I bolted on '95 Toy calipers to my '82 solid axle with these rotors and it looks like everything is going to work perfect. None of the rims I had laying around would fit without spacers because those calipers stick out so far.
