Single Row Timing Chain Kit

(w/ Metal Guides)

LC Engineering has expanded its line of Metal Back Guides to include them in a complete timing set. This is perfect for someone reconditioning a high-mileage engine or one that is due for an overhaul. LCE's kit comes complete with our metal back guides, cam and crank sprockets, chain (96 Link), tensioner, gaskets, and crankshaft oil seals. This single timing chain kit fits 85-95 22R/RE engines only. For early models, use part number. For early models, use Part #: 1015000.

    Necessary Upgrade for 22RE

    Rebuilding your 22RE or just doing maintenance? Don't think about using the original style plastic timing chain guides. Use this kit instead. Can't beat the price either.

    Installed by my mechanic. He said the kit was very well made. The only item he mentioned were a couple of the gaskets - those provided did not have any sealant around the coolant ports. He replaced them with some from Felpro that did have the sealant he preferred.

    New chain, sprockets, guides, tensioner and bolts. She couldn’t have fit anymore snug. I’m confident in this upgrade.
