Thermostat Housing Adapter Kit
(Late style Water Neck)
Most aftermarket intake manifolds on the market today use the early style water neck also known as thermostat housing. This particular style of water neck is no longer available from Toyota. LC Engineering has developed a billet adapter that will allow you to utilize the late model (83-95) water neck on the aftermarket manifold with the factory's early style pattern. This new design has its own O-ring built-in, to seal against the water neck and will use the stock Toyota rubber thermostat seal on the underside. Without the adapter, there is not enough area for a proper seal on the late style water neck so it is almost certain for leaking to occur.
