Over time, the rubber can start to deteriorate and fall apart due to the constant stress from the motor torque. Contamination from grease and oil can accelerate the deterioration process. Great replacement mounts
No need to spend $200 on Toyota mounts. These fit and work great! Can't believe I wasted money on another brand that did not fit.

LCE EFI Power Package and Motor Mounts
About 2 months ago I purchased and installed (half me half a shop) the EFI Power Package (along with some more routine maintenance parts). My '89 Pickup with an automatic transmission will now run up a 7 or 8 grade hill with the O/D off at 75mph. Enough said. Haven't gotten the mounts yet but they will be excellent as well (as I've learned all of LCE's offerings are).

Motor mounts
Much better ride, shifts better, engages in first better due to motor and trans being lined up as it should be. solved the vibration priblem I was having. Installed in about an hour. Had to remove radiator schroud to all the motor to come up enough to slip in the new mounts.
