LC Engineering has continued the reputation for unsurpassed quality by offering the best oil pump you can buy for your engine - our exclusive Pro Oil Pump. We start with brand new oil pumps from Japan. Next, they are hand blueprinted, hard anodized and then reassembled by our technicians. This insures you will get the OEM Aisin quality with the added benefit of the LC touch which provides extra protection for a street engine and a requirement for high output race engines. This pump will deliver around 10 lbs. at idle and 70 lbs. at higher RPMs. If you need more pressure than that check out our adjustable bypass 1016063. Includes new O-Ring gasket, this Oil Pump will not work with the LC Engineering dual row timing chain conversion Kit. For an early 81-84 pump or an 85-95 with a dual row conversion you will need to use Part #: 1016069.

LC Engineering's Pro series oil pump may not look like anything special, but it packs a big punch!! We start with a Japanese made, OE style oil pump. These are the same brand that made the original Toyota oil pump, so you can rest assured you are getting only the highest quality part for your hard earned dollars! But we didn't stop there. We remove the internals, have the body hard anodized, and re-machined to allow us to run a tighter oil clearance, therefore creating more oil pressure, and volume. This eliminates the stock Toyota low oil pressure and gives you longer engine life and reliability. Your new oil pump is designed to give you increased oil pressure and volume, but it will not compensate for a worn out, or incorrectly assembled engine. Oil pressure is determined by bearing clearances more than anything, so if your engine is worn out, or if the bearing clearance is not set right you will not get proper oil pressure. LC Engineering also manufactures an adjustable oil pump bypass for even more oil pressure adjustability, see Part # 1016063 .
When installing your new oil pump do not use grease of any type to lubricate. Grease can cause oil passages to clog up and can result in engine damage, or failure. The pump is pre-assembled with lubricant on it already. Install the new pump using the supplied O-ring and apply a small amount of sealant (Ultra Grey silicone works best) to the top bolt (see pic below). Torque bolts using the pic and table below. We recommend installing a new front seal (part #1015042) when installing your new oil pump. You should also inspect the harmonic damper for damage (pitting, worn etc.). If your damper is damaged you will want to install a seal saver (Part #1016115) to protect the new seal and keep it from leaking.

Excellent product
Worn groove on my balancer which wore out the front main seal. Went ahead and got this oil pump with a new seal and speedy sleeve. I've never had this great of oil pressure. Idles better and made it a little bit quieter as well. Does exactly what LCE says It would.

So Far So Good
This is a genuine Aisin pump. The housing is a darker gray, indicative of the anodizing finish. The existing pump on my 4Runner was some cheap knock-off that gave me random leaking problems. Always go Aisin for your Toyota!! The dealer wanted almost $300...and I believe THIS pump is a better quality unit than the Toyota stock. Thank you LC. You guys rock!

Awesome Product
Awesome oil pump. I replaced my old one because it was leaking oil and a new one would just add peace of mind. I also did the oil pump O-ring and front seal. After install no leaks and it look great. Only thing that I would like to see different is a nicer finish. I like the clean polished look, but the finish was a little dull. But that is just looks and the oil pump is not the easiest thing to see. haha I always choose LCE first when shopping for toyota parts. I have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work!
