The first-generation Toyota Tacoma (1995–2004) is LCE's deepest Tacoma catalog. It is the platform that built our reputation in the Tacoma community, and it carries the three engines we have spent the most time building parts for: the 2RZ-FE 2.4-liter four-cylinder (1995–2000), the 3RZ-FE 2.7-liter four-cylinder (1995–2004), and the 5VZ-FE 3.4-liter V6 (1995–2004). All three engines have active buyer communities; the 5VZ-FE has been particularly significant since LCE launched the 5VZ replacement long block in August 2025.
