The first-generation Toyota Tundra (2000–2006) was Toyota's first serious U.S.-market full-size pickup — a clean-sheet platform that established Toyota as a real competitor in the half-ton segment for the first time. It carried two engines: the 3.4L 5VZ-FE V6 (early years, 2000-2004) and the 4.7L 2UZ-FE V8 (2000-2006, the volume engine across the run). Both engines have meaningful LCE catalog coverage through cross-platform parts sharing.

The 5VZ-FE Tundra is the same engine LCE has built around for the 1st gen Tacoma and 3rd gen 4Runner — Toyota's first DOHC truck V6 and one of LCE's specialty platforms. Our 5VZ-FE catalog includes the LCE 5VZ replacement long block (launched August 2025), full stroker programs, supercharger kits, turbo kits, header kits, performance camshafts, master rebuild kits, and the supporting components for high-output 5VZ builds. The 2UZ-FE V8 Tundra shares its engine architecture with the early Land Cruiser 100-series and 4th gen 4Runner; LCE coverage is more selective but the bolt-on performance and OEM-spec rebuild components are real.
