22RE (1983-1987) Type-C Equalized Fuel Injector Set - 195cc 2.5 OHM
The purpose of cleaning and flow testing is to remove any contaminants inside or outside the injector that impede fuel flow or degrade fuel spray pattern. Then to accurately measure each injector's fuel flow ability and map the injector performance.
Any set of fuel injectors will benefit from LCE'S clean and flow matched service, every injector is cleaned and checked for equal flow. This equalizes the fuel supplied to each cylinder and smoothes power output! It is not uncommon for a set of original equipment (OE) injectors to have an unacceptably wide range of fuel flow and it's possible to even have new injectors that do not function properly. LCE'S standard testing process identifies those problematic injectors.
After the initial flow-test, our injectors are transferred to an ultrasonic cleaning machine and connected to injector drivers. They are submerged in cleaning solution and pulsed while being subjected to ultrasonic cleaning waves. The combination of the solution and the ultrasound aggressively clean the internal and external parts of the injectors.The internal filter screen is replaced. Finally, the now-clean injectors are reinstalled on the flow-tester and run again. Each set of flow-matched injectors comes with the O rings, grommets, and isolators.
NOTE: There is an additional core charge of $48.00 when this Fuel Injector Set is ordered. The core amount is refunded to you when the Fuel Injector Core Set is shipped back to LCE. Core credit will not be given after 60 days from customer receiving part. Customer is responsible for any shipping charges for core return. The core charge is refunded to the original credit card used to place the order only.
