Idle Speed Adjusting Screw
(w/ O-Ring)
Is your Idle Speed Screw loosening by itself keeping the motor from idling properly? Is it stripped out from all of the adjustments over the years? Is it even on the throttle body anymore or did it fall out? LC Engineering is producing these custom Stainless Steel Idle Speed Screws on our CNC lathe to solve your problem. A new O ring is installed with a sealing lubricant prior to shipment. LC Engineering has added knurling to the end so no tools needed to adjust, just use your fingers. This is a must have for all 22RE/RTE engines! Follow factory service manual or decal under hood for idle adjustment procedure.

Clean your threads first so it doesn't hang. Otherwise it's not so hand adjustable.

Cured an idle problem.. The sealant plus the new O ring created a better seal. Makes adjusting a snap..
