Idle Speed Adjusting Screw

Is your Idle Speed Screw loosening by itself keeping the motor from idling properly? Is it stripped out from all of the adjustments over the years? Is it even on the throttle body anymore or did it fall out? LC Engineering is producing these custom Stainless Steel Idle Speed Screws on our CNC lathe to solve your problem. A new O ring is installed with a sealing lubricant prior to shipment. LC Engineering has added knurling to the end so no tools needed to adjust, just use your fingers. This is a must have for all 22RE/RTE engines! Follow factory service manual or decal under hood for idle adjustment procedure.

22re 22rte Idle Speed Adjust Screw
If you have a fuel injected 22re this is a necessity. Mine has been modified and sometimes I need adjust the idle on the fly (larger alternator, colder weather). This allows me to keep my idle exactly where I want. My original was getting pretty stiff too and had a minor leak, not anymore. It's looks damn sharp too! Really love the functionality of this

1983 Celica GTS 22RE 503,000 miles
My idle was rough and the car was hard to start. I replaced the old screw with this one from LC Engineering, backed it out 3.5 turns and the car starts, idles and runs much better. Thanks LCE!

Throttle body idle screw
Worked perfectly, but remember, if you drop it before you get it started,it's stainless steel,so a magnetic reaches won't pick it up.
