Brake Master Cylinder

(1" Bore)

Are you upgrading your brakes from drums to discs? Are you just increasing the rotor size? Either way we both know that the Toyota's stopping power just doesn't seem to be up to today's standards. This brake master cylinder is precision-engineered to match the design, function, and performance of the original master cylinder on specific vehicle years, makes and models. It is made of new, high-quality materials for a safe, durable replacement. Replacing your smaller brake master cylinder with this larger one will provide better stopping power. Give us a call if you have any questions about this.

Features:

  • Precise replacement - cylinder housing is constructed to match the casting material of the original part and ensure similar performance
  • Durable design - all rubber components are made of high-quality EPDM compound for resistance to glycol-based brake fluid
  • 100% new - made entirely of new materials, not remanufactured, to ensure highest quality and safety
  • Strict specifications - made to meet rigorous SAE International standards

NOTE: When upgrading to this 1" master cylinder you may need to purchase the custom line, see Part #: 1055449 for 85-95 models. When upgrading on 84 and earlier models the original brake line will need to be modified for proper fitment. The harness on this cap may be different than some model years. Some caps swap over, others may require the old harness plug to be spliced onto the new cap, or hardwired directly.

What a great update. This master cylinder really pushes lots of additional fluid to my breaks. Giving my breaks that additional hold on the really steep hills.
