Fuel Pressure Gauge Kit

(EFI)

Ever wonder if the fuel regulator is doing its job? Not sure if you're getting the right fuel pressure at the fuel rail? This new fuel gauge kit is the solution to this problem. This kit will replace the banjo bolt on the cold start injector with a new stainless steel bolt that accepts a 1/8 NPT gauge. Included in this kit are the copper crush washers, elbow to face gauge forward, and 0-60 PSI Gauge that is 1.5".

NOTE: This gauge is intended to be used like a tool. Premature failure may result from leaving the gauge installed under hood. Not for use in the cabin of the vehicle. For the bolt only (with no gauge or elbow), see Part #: 1093076.

Kit Contents

  • (1) - LCE Low Pressure Fuel Gauge
  • (1) - 90 Degree Elbow Fitting
  • (1) - LC Fuel Pressure Bolt
  • (2) - Copper Washers
  • (1) - Hex Socket Pipe Plug

When installing any gauge or fitting into the fuel rail bolt, the bolt will need to be secured by a wrench when installing any components, Otherwise damage may occur on the fuel rail bolt if it is not properly supported when additional parts are installed. Fuel Pressure bolt should be torqued to no more than 22ft lbs. Check and inspect for any leaks.


NOTE: This gauge is not intended to be left installed under hood. After every tune / use, remove gauge and install plug (supplied). Failure to remove gauge will result in gauge failure.

    Cheaper than buying a Snap-On adapter.

    Worked out great for me knowing that my fuel pressure is in spec. Diagnostics continue. This setup with the gauge included was much cheaper than buying an adapter from Snap-On.

    I bought this to diagnose my 85 22re. It was a quick and easy install. It probably took 5min to finish the project and dingoes my fuel pressure problem.

    Installed this kit on my 89, 1st Gen 4runner. Worked without leaks. I didn't need the elbow, but the rest of the kit fit perfectly on the cold start injector union. I was able to diagnose a weak fuel pump and at least one leaky injector. Thanks LCE!

    I opt for the liquid filled gauge so I could leave it on permanently... even though you're not supposed to but I have heard from other Toyota enthusiasts that the liquid filled gauge lasts a long time and isn't so effected by the heat cycles.

    Fuel pressure guage

    22re has been running poorly for sometime now. Put this fuel pressure guage on and the fuel pressure is running at 25lbs. I believe the pump is weak/bad. Thanks for making a kit for me to narrow down the problem. Travis
