K&N Valve Cover Breather

K&N crankcase vent filters are perfect for racing applications, vintage cars or individuals who want to add some aesthetics to their classic carbureted engine. The 62-1370 crankcase vent filter has a K&N embossed chrome-plated steel top with a black rubber base. The 1 inch diameter zinc tube is designed to push in and clamp directly on to metal or plastic tubing where venting is needed. Constructed with a synthetic filter media it can be cleaned and reused repeatedly. This K&N Rubber Base Crankcase Vent Filter and adapter is designed to clamp directly to metal nipple on the front of the valve cover. When using dual carburetors or performance type single carburetors, this Crank Case Breather (with chrome top), should be installed in place of the vent tube located at the front of the valve cover just behind the oil filler cap. We also offer a breather that will fit in the factory PCV grommet for race applications.

A must when running aftermarket carb
A must have purchase when running a Weber carb, at first I used the cheap valve cover filters you purchase at the local auto parts store, they are a waste of time, the leak and you will have oil on the valve cover. Spend the few extra dollars and get the ones from LCEngineering, trust me, not only do they not leak oil on my valve cover, they look good as well.
