Street Header Kit
(50 State Legal 1995 - 1999)
This is the highest quality Stainless Steel Header for your 2RZ engine. The long tube design of this header is the best for horsepower and torque. The header kit for the 2RZ are made from 1-5/8" 304 stainless steel tubing, 16 gauge .065 wall, and feature 1/2" thick flanges at the head and 3/8" thick flanges at the collector. The 2RZ header has a 2 1/4" collector to bolt to the factory catalytic converter. For the best performance this header is ceramic coated for long-lasting great looks and lower under hood temps.
NOTE: 2RZ and 3RZ header kits are 49-state legal for all years, but only CARB legal in California for 95-99 Single Catalytic Converter trucks. Direct Fit on Manual Transmissions only. Automatic Transmissions may have to modify the Transmission Fluid Dipstick in order to clear the header. Kit will include all gaskets needed for proper installation. LC Engineering 2RZ/3RZ header kits are a direct fit on single catalytic trucks only. Trucks with dual catalytic converter applications will require modification to use LC Engineering's header kit. LC Engineering does NOT recommend wrapping our headers with any sort of exhaust wrap. Doing so will increase the likelihood of a premature failure of the header, as it holds contaminants to the exhaust tubing and increases the chances of corrosion. Exhaust wraps will void any and all warranty claims.

Your LC Engineering Street Performer Header Kit is supplied with the necessary gaskets and hardware for installation. This header kit replaces the stock exhaust manifold and connector tube. It is designed to bolt directly to your factory catalytic converter. This Header Kit utilizes all factory emission and oxygen sensor equipment in stock locations and performs to OEM requirements. Follow all factory service manual recommendations for removal of stock exhaust manifold. Reverse instructions for installation of LC Header Kit.
Exhaust Studs: Torque exhaust studs to 33ft-lbs. We also offer new header mounting studs if needed (part #1045030).
NOTE: LC Engineering does not recommend the use of header wraps.

STRAIGHT BADASS!!
The header is straight badass. Super easy to install and I notice a major difference. Thanks to LC Engineering for this great header. Service/Delivery was on point, fast, and pretty much set the standards. The only parts I will be getting for my 1998 Taco, will definitely be from LCE!!! Thank you LCE!!!

Easy power!
I received this header kit in only two days. I was dreading the install but managed to get the whole thing done in one afternoon by myself. Spent most of the time removing the factory cast iron system. Install was super easy, No cutting/fabrication at all. Off with the old on with the new. Improved responsiveness and comfort at highway speeds.

Beautiful
The package arrived sooner than I thought. I was able to install myself. They appear to be ceramic coated both inside and out and reduce heat. My fuel economy increased a bit as well.

Tacoma 2rz header
Good quality welds great power adder. Header sits below frame rail which is not good since my truck is lowered. Also the collector flange is smaller than what is on my truck. Maybe I should have ordered the 3RZ header.
