Tacoma Street Header Kit
(50 State Legal 1995 - 1999)
This high-quality header is a long tube design to get the most horsepower for your Tacoma. There are other headers on the market but none will come close to the LC Engineering long tube in terms of horsepower and torque gains. This header kit will come with new OE the gaskets needed for install.
All the same quality components used in our 22R line are now available for your 2RZ or 3RZ engine. Our header kits for the 3RZ are made from 1-5/8" 304 stainless steel tubing, 16 gauge .065 wall, and feature 1/2" thick flanges at the head and 3/8" thick flanges at the collector. 3RZ header has a 2 1/2" collector to bolt to the factory catalytic converter. For the best performance, our headers are ceramic coated for long-lasting great looks and lower underhood temps. Kits include all gaskets needed for proper installation. LC Engineering 2RZ/3RZ header kits are a direct fit on single catalytic trucks only. Trucks with dual catalytic converter applications will require modification to use LC Engineering's header kit.
NOTE: Not a direct fit for vehicles with dual catalytic converters. 2RZ and 3RZ header kits are 49-state legal for all years, but CARB legal in California only for 1995-1999 Single Catalytic Converter trucks. LC Engineering does NOT recommend wrapping our headers with any sort of exhaust wrap. Doing so will increase the likelihood of a premature failure of the header, as it holds contaminants to the exhaust tubing and increases the chances of corrosion. Exhaust wraps will void any and all warranty claims.

Your LC Engineering Street Performer Header Kit is supplied with the necessary gaskets and hardware for installation. This header kit replaces the stock exhaust manifold and connector tube. It is designed to bolt directly to your factory catalytic converter. This Header Kit utilizes all factory emission and oxygen sensor equipment in stock locations and performs to OEM requirements. Follow all factory service manual recommendations for removal of stock exhaust manifold. Reverse instructions for installation of LC Header Kit.
Exhaust Studs: Torque exhaust studs to 33ft-lbs. We also offer new header mounting studs if needed (part #1045030).
NOTE: LC Engineering does not recommend the use of header wraps.

Being run with a K&N air filter and recently cleaned MAF sensor. Incredible difference, through all five gears. I get to shift point quicker, and clutch feels different, like there is more power. Its not loud at all in cab, but can hear the difference. Well worth it...

Performance Enhancer...
i just replaced my stock exhaust manifold with your guys street header for my 99 prerunner 3rz. I already had the flow master cat with K and N intake with stock muffler. I can really feel the difference in performance and throttle response. The highway performance is superb. On the uphills above 60mph when you hit the OD button, the truck feels like its floating on air with a whole lotta throttle left. I was amazed. There's some vibration while the truck is at a stoplight. Don't know if its coming from the header. Also, the larger nuts and bolts that came with the kit, don't match. The nuts only go on only halfway of the tread then they get stuck. The 4 smaller studs and nuts work good. The header gasket is of good quality. The job was easy. Found it hard to use a torque wrench for the lower 2 nuts that bolt onto the engine, so i just torqued it by hand.

LCE Street Header on 95 Tacoma 2.7
Installed the LCE header on my sons 95 Tacoma. Installarion was straight forward and everything went smoothly. The performance gain was quite a nice increase. My son and I are very happy with the purchase. Highly recommended for the 2.7 3RZ.

3rz header
Bought this header to install on a new engine I'm building, but after listening to the major exhaust leak from the manifold on the current engine in the truck I decided to put the header on this old engine (400,000+miles) just to eliminate the noise. I was surprised to find even on this worn out engine I did notice a power increase and even a slight improvement on fuel mileage. The fit and finish of this product is top notch and installation took less than an hour with basic hand tool.

Lce Tacoma 3rz header
Very happy with my purchase of this header. Had been looking at it for quite a while and saw the Father's Day discount so finally ordered and couldn't be happier. Took about 1.5 hrs to install with no problems with the part at all. Very good fit and finish. Would defiantly buy again.

Long overdue
I should have done this long ago. I've gone through 2 exhaust manifolds and was about to save money and buy another. I'm glad I got this header instead. My truck Runs super smooth now and it was way easier to install than an oem or after market manifold. I passed smog without any questions too ! I highly recommend this product
