Tacoma Street Header Kit
(50 State Legal 1995 - 1999)
This high-quality header is a long tube design to get the most horsepower for your Tacoma. There are other headers on the market but none will come close to the LC Engineering long tube in terms of horsepower and torque gains. This header kit will come with new OE the gaskets needed for install.
All the same quality components used in our 22R line are now available for your 2RZ or 3RZ engine. Our header kits for the 3RZ are made from 1-5/8" 304 stainless steel tubing, 16 gauge .065 wall, and feature 1/2" thick flanges at the head and 3/8" thick flanges at the collector. 3RZ header has a 2 1/2" collector to bolt to the factory catalytic converter. For the best performance, our headers are ceramic coated for long-lasting great looks and lower underhood temps. Kits include all gaskets needed for proper installation. LC Engineering 2RZ/3RZ header kits are a direct fit on single catalytic trucks only. Trucks with dual catalytic converter applications will require modification to use LC Engineering's header kit.
NOTE: Not a direct fit for vehicles with dual catalytic converters. 2RZ and 3RZ header kits are 49-state legal for all years, but CARB legal in California only for 1995-1999 Single Catalytic Converter trucks. LC Engineering does NOT recommend wrapping our headers with any sort of exhaust wrap. Doing so will increase the likelihood of a premature failure of the header, as it holds contaminants to the exhaust tubing and increases the chances of corrosion. Exhaust wraps will void any and all warranty claims.

Your LC Engineering Street Performer Header Kit is supplied with the necessary gaskets and hardware for installation. This header kit replaces the stock exhaust manifold and connector tube. It is designed to bolt directly to your factory catalytic converter. This Header Kit utilizes all factory emission and oxygen sensor equipment in stock locations and performs to OEM requirements. Follow all factory service manual recommendations for removal of stock exhaust manifold. Reverse instructions for installation of LC Header Kit.
Exhaust Studs: Torque exhaust studs to 33ft-lbs. We also offer new header mounting studs if needed (part #1045030).
NOTE: LC Engineering does not recommend the use of header wraps.

Awesome!!
I have installed other headers on my truck, aftermarket and OEM, and they are always such a pain. This LCE header went in so smooth!! Everything lined up the way it was supposed to and the header looks bulletproof! I love it and will definitely recommend LCE

3RZ Street Header
I have replaced the stock cast manifold on my 1999 3RZ several times due to the cracking issue. I found LCE online and decided to spend the money to give them a try. So far it was well worth it. Header lined up perfectly with stock application. Great to see that someone still makes a high quality product. Thanks for your attention to detail.

Great fit
I only just put the header on. It was almost a perfect install. I did have two of the studs from the stud kit strip out. Id like to blame the stud, but i used a crap torque wrench from autozone so who knows. Overall fit was great, no problems there. I do feel some light gains in the seat of my pants during exceleration, of which i really didnt expect on my completely stock 3rz. I have no longevity review since ive not had it installed for more than a day.

3rz street header 95-04
Very well made header looks and sounds great. CA smog legal was what made this purchase a no-brainer. The stock cast-iron exhaust manifold was cracked lengthwise on all 3 main collection chambers and was leaking terribly by 200K miles. This header was my solution. The stock priced manifold is significantly cheaper but still just a POS compared to this header pipe. Highly recommend

This is the one you want.
Very bad knack for things happening at inopportune times. Not sure what possessed me to install this thing in the rain outside, rolling around in the mud for four hours soaking wet. Incase you are unaware or do not own one, obtain an E-10 external Torx for the mounting studs. if you need it and don't have it, it's going to be a bad time. It helps a lot should you need it. Instillation was VERY easy, given the situation. My only complaint is the lower stud hole to the front side of the vehicle is obscured by the pipes coming out, you will not be able to get a socket to it properly. Get a crescent wrench for it. Other than that, All gaskets were of appropriate quality, header itself is beautiful. Noticed an immediate power gain, dollar for dollar the best thing you can do for this little engine. This is where you want to start and the exact header you want to buy.
