Teflon Heat Isolator kits keep the power-robbing heat away from the intake air. By keeping the heat out of the intake manifold, the incoming air is cooler, therefore making more power. This is the ultimate for improving mileage and performance for the price. Our Teflon gaskets are also reusable and won't tear like the factory paper gaskets do. This gasket seals between the throttle body and the upper plenum on stock EFI engines.

Not much to say about a gasket should be re usable as said on product page. It does seem to compress a little bit when torqued down, could safely do about 13 ft lbs.
