Water Block Plate Kit
(11 Bolt / Under Intake)
This water plate will fit on any 22R carbureted manifold with the 11-bolt design underneath it. This plate works with stock manifolds or aftermarket designs. You will need to verify the bolt count on the bottom of your manifold since there is an eight bolt design and an 11 bolt design. The block plate has a 3/8" npt hole in the plate to accommodate a heater or other accessory. This kit comes with a billet aluminum water plate, gasket, mounting hardware, 3/8" npt plug and 90 degree fitting with a 5/8" hose barb.
NOTE: If you have a manifold that requires an (8) bolt plate then you will need Part #: 1032003.

Due to the casting differences in the Offenhauser intake manifold some block plates will require a slight modification. This plate kit also includes a 3/8"npt plug and a hose barb fitting. The plug can be used to block off the plate or you can use the hose barb fitting to run to your heater core.
Installation:
- First mock up the block plate on the bottom of the manifold.
- Next install all bolts thru the block plate into the manifold - Do not tighten bolts only install them enough to engage the threads.
- Verify that all the bolts thread into the manifold easily and freely.
- If you find that one or more of the bolts are binding or not threading in properly you may have to open that bolt hole on the block plate slightly (DO NOT MODIFY THE MANIFOLD). LC Engineering recommends the use of a small file or drill bit. You should only have to clearance this hole a very small amount. Be careful not to take too much material off the block plate or you could experience a coolant leak.
- Once you clearance the bolt hole repeat steps 1-4 as necessary.

A nice fit but really short Allen bolts included.
I really like this water plate but the included hardware was really short. They would only catch 3 threads before they got snug. So far so good no leaks but some longer hardware would make me feel better.

Fits perfect
