Two Engine Options for the Toyota 4Runner 3rd Gen Long Block
Third generation 4Runners came from the factory with two engine options, and we stock long blocks for both. The 3RZ is a 2.7L inline four-cylinder that was used in 4-cylinder models from 1995 through 2004. Our 3RZ Stage 1 Series Long Block brings that engine back to life with a fresh, high-quality rebuild that goes beyond basic stock specs.
For the V6 models, we carry the Stage 1 5VZ Long Block, which fits the 3.4L 5VZ that powered many third gen 4Runners through 2002. Both options are designed as direct stock replacements with meaningful performance improvements already included from the start.
