Pro H-Beam Connecting Rod Bolt Set
Prevent catastrophic bottom-end failure and secure your engine's rotating assembly with high-strength replacement fasteners. Under the continuous stress of high-RPM operation factory rod bolts are prone to stretching, which directly leads to spun rod bearings and devastating connecting rod failure. These Pro Rod Bolts deliver the ultimate in durability and fatigue resistance, providing the critical clamping force necessary for high-performance builds.
Key Features & Technical Specifications
- High-RPM Reliability: Specifically engineered to eliminate fastener stretch and maintain consistent torque under extreme mechanical loads.
- Premium Grade Fasteners: Manufactured to elite performance standards, making them the most durable and reliable replacement rod bolts available on the market.
- Essential Engine Security: A vital upgrade for any heavy-duty street, track, or off-road engine rebuild.
Critical Fitment Note
- H-Beam Rods Only: This bolt set is custom-tailored strictly for LC Pro H-Beam connecting rods.
- Stock Applications: These fasteners will not fit standard factory components. If you are rebuilding an engine with stock-style connecting rods, please see Part number: 1013201.

| Fastener/Dimension/Material | Head Identification | Final Torque Value | Target Bolt Stretch |

Fastener Inspection & Service Life Tracking
To accurately track the service life and fatigue of high-performance rod bolts, we highly recommend keeping a dedicated log of each bolt's original, un-torqued free-standing length.
- Inspection Protocol: During subsequent engine tear-downs, measure the free-standing length against the hardware's original baseline measurement.
- Replacement Criteria: If a bolt shows a permanent elongation of .001" or greater, or exhibits any physical signs of permanent deformation or thread galling, it must be replaced immediately.
Installation Procedure (Without a Stretch Gauge)
If you do not have access to a precision stretch gauge, you must follow this multi-pass cycling procedure using premium Moly assembly lubricant to properly pre-stretch the fasteners.
- Lubricate & Initial Torque: With the connecting rods installed in the engine, thoroughly lubricate the hardware and torque all bolts ti 70 ft-lbs.
- First Cycle: Completely loosen the fasteners, then re-torque them a second time to 70-ft lbs.
- Final Cycle: Loosen the fasteners once more, then torque them to 70 ft-lbs a third and final time to lock in the proper clamp load.
