Why Upgrade to Studs?
- Thread Protection: Eliminates the risk of stripping or cross-threading delicate cylinder head threads during repeated manifold removal.
- Easier Alignment: Allows you to pre-install the studs so the manifold can rest in place, freeing up both hands to start the hardware.
-Note: Fully bottom out the studs in the head before installing the manifold. Final torque sequence for the nuts is 14 ft-lbs.
