First-generation Tacomas (1995-2004) utilize a factory C-channel frame that is notoriously susceptible to bending, cracking, and structural fatigue-especially when subjected to the stresses of off-roading, heavy towing, or high-mileage use.
While Toyota addressed this weakness by boxing the frames on later 2005+ models, first-gen owners have historically been left with a vulnerable rear section. Our reinforcement plates provide the structural rigidity necessary to fix these inherent design flaws.
