Street Tune-up Kit

(w/ NGK Plug Wires)

A tune up kit that won't break the bank, for your 1980 to1992 20R/22R/RE from LC Engineering. Included are four NGK spark plugs BKR5EYA, Set of NGK Spark Plug Wires, Distributor cap (black), and a good quality distributor rotor.

Kit Includes:

  • (1) 81-92 20r/22r/22re Street Distributor Cap: 1081028.
  • (1) 1980-1995 20R/22R/RE/RET Pro Distributor Rotor: 1081057.
  • (4) Spark Plug NGK BKR5EYA V-Power: 1084000.
  • (1) 1978-1992 20R/22R/RE/RET NGK 7mm Spark Plug Wire Set: 1083032.

NOTE: Will Not work for the 1993-1995 22R/RE engines due to the fact the late model engines use a different distributor cap.

Question: What do I gap spark plugs to?

Answer: 2000 and earlier model Toyota's will be gapped to 0.031".

  • 1981-1992 22R 2.4L Engines
  • 1983-1992 22RE 2.4L Engines

    My lone suggestion for that kit would be to include a small packet of thread anti-seize compound. Otherwise, a solid kit which arrived quickly. Thanks!

    Great kit/brands

    For a (basically) stock motor, this is a great set of name brand products at a great price. Suppressed wires so no radio noise, cut to correct lengths and even numbered. We all know that we want the LC race motor one day, but for the meantime, keep what you have running well, and support these guys!
