The T100 is the forgotten link between the compact Pickup and the full-size Tundra. It sold slowly when new — too big for the Pickup crowd, not big enough for the domestic full-size buyer — which is exactly why the ones still on the road are worth keeping. The good news for owners is that the T100 shares its engines with platforms we have been building parts for since the 1980s, so the parts support is far better than the production numbers suggest.
3.4L 5VZ-FE — Our Deepest T100 Coverage
From 1995 the T100 could be had with the 5VZ-FE 3.4-liter V6, and that engine is core LCE territory. Our T100 supercharger kits are the single most-searched thing on this platform, and the Magnuson 3.4L supercharger system for the 1995-2004 5VZ-FE is the complete answer: intercooled, tuned, and using the factory engine management rather than fighting it.
For engines that need work before they need boost, the 5VZ T100 master rebuild kit covers a full refresh. Do the rebuild first if the engine has miles on it — supercharging a tired 5VZ finds every weak head gasket and ring land it has.
2RZ and 3RZ Four-Cylinders
The base T100 ran the 2.7L 3RZ-FE, and LCE builds heavily for this family. The Stage 1 Series long block for the 1995-2004 3RZ is a complete, ready-to-install engine rather than a rebuild you assemble yourself.
For boost on the four-cylinder, kits are split by manifold port count — 8-port for 1995–1999 and 4-port for 2000–2004:
Read the smog-legal notes on each kit carefully. On the 4-port kits the CARB exemption covers 2000–2001 only, and that is a legal distinction rather than a fitment one.
Tuning, Fuel and the Rest of the Truck
Once a T100 is making more air, fuelling and management have to keep up. Our piggyback ECU options handle the tuning side, and injectors cover the fuel side for both the V6 and the four-cylinders.
Beyond the engine, browse T100 exhaust, suspension, drivetrain and cooling. Because the T100 shares so much with the 1995–2004 Tacoma and the 3rd gen 4Runner, parts listed for those trucks will often be the correct part for yours — ask us if you are unsure rather than guessing on fitment.
