Application & Tech Notes
- Universal Application: Designed as an aftermarket performance upgrade. Because this is an inline universal unit, minor fabrication, bracket adjustment, or line modification may be required depending on your vehicle's layout.
- Bypass & Regulator Note: While running a high-flow pump is safe on its own, factory fuel pressure regulators (such as Toyota's stock 42 psi regulator) can sometimes restrict the return volume of a 255 LPH pump. Upgrading to an adjustable, high-flow aftermarket bypass regulator is highly recommended it prevent pressure creep.
Crucial Installation & Preventative Maintenance
Debris contamination and thermal overheating are the two most common causes of premature fuel pump failure. Because these issues are entirely preventable, they are not covered under warranty.
To protect your investment:
- Thoroughly clean and flush your fuel tank prior to installation to eliminate sediment.
- Always run a dedicated pre-filter before the pump inlet to catch microscopic debris.
